It is the story of a man who has always believed in innovation and who knew how to revolutionize his market. He began with a traditional mill that crushed local and imported barley to produce barley semolina and became a key actor in the field of grain industry.

The growth of the group is linked to the ambitions, values and stability of a family. Its history is a succession of feats carried out by a visionary founder.

1978

THE BEGINNING

1978 the family history begins in Casablanca with : • The First Barley Mill in 1978 • The Durum Wheat Mill in 1990 • The Second Barley MILL in 1997

2003

DYNAMIC DEPLOYMENT

Creation of Casagrains company with a large capacity of storage of 81000 tons. And distribution platform for grains and raw materials for livetock and poultry, CASAGRAINS became the centralized sourcing company for the group’s industrial units.

2006

BODOR MILLS

Launch of BODOR MILLS the number one Semolina Durum Wheat industry with production capacity of 500 tons per day.

2008

INTEGRATION STRATEGY

• NOUVELLE HADID MILLS specialized on Milling Wheat with a production capacity of 350 tons per day. • CASAGRAINS LOGISTIQUE & DAILY DISTRIBUTION to optimize logistic from port to customers. • MINOTERIE SAHEL an acquisition of 100% Barley Mill • KAYNA GROUP the first modern complex pasta and couscous factory.

2010

DIVERSIFICATION

• Acquisition of SN EDDIK flagship of the feed industry in Morocco. • Launch of Hatcheries COUVOIRS RHAMNA and 4 reproduction farms. • Partnership agreement with the American company HY-LINE, the world leader in hatching-hen genetics.

2014

INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION

With the acquisition of IMANDY MILLS a Milling Wheat capacity of 520 tons per day and Durum Wheat capacity 250 tons per day. IMANDY GRAINS Construction of one of the largest storage of raw materials in Morocco with a storage capacity of 120000 tons.

2016

AFRICA EXPANSION

Signature of the first joint venture in west Africa dedicated to poultry industry in 2016 with the largest poultry operator in Mali “SOMMAVI” Signature of a the second Joint Venture in Mauritania in partnership with local operators, “SMV” and construction of an integrated poultry complex.

2021

Launch of EDDIK

Launch of EDDIK, the modern feed meal plant industrial unit specialized in composed animal feed manufacturing.

2023

TODAY

• We pursue our vision of integration by launching a new dedicated line of spaghetti in kayna group. • We are in process building a modern and high capacity slaughterhouse for meat-type poultry “Abattoirs Eddik” scheduled for 2025
